Rubens B&B is located in the district built in the Art Deco period, the 20-s of the last century and walking to the hart of the city you will encounter the Art Nouveau architecture of the former turn of the century near the Vondel park before you will reach the old centre with the splendour of the canals. The atmosphere is still as it was in the 17th and 18th century, just substitute the cars with horses and carriages in your mind, or walk there on a Sunday morning when the city is still resting from the excitement of Saturdays nightlife.
